School of Hotel, Restaurant & Tourism Management
Business + hospitality = a competitive advantage.
The School of Hotel, Restaurant and Tourism Management (HRTM) curriculum prepares you to think on your feet, lead diverse projects and solve problems creatively--skills you'll need to compete in the fast-paced hospitality industry.
The HRTM curriculum gives you a solid foundation in business and then builds upon it with specialized courses in hotel, restaurant and tourism management. Unique, hands-on learning experiences like managing Beans, an on-campus coffee shop, or planning and managing large-scale events in HRTM's conference facilities, hone your skills and boost your confidence. In fact, you're required to have 1,000 hours of work experience by the time you graduate.
HRTM offers a bachelors of science in business administration (BSBA) in hotel, restaurant and tourism management and a BSBA minor in tourism. Undergraduates pursuing a HRTM major choose a concentration for specialized training.
