What Are The Prerequisites to Start a MBA Program?

Before you can apply to any MBA program, you must know that you meet the minimum requirements. Listed below are the admissions criteria for our the Daniels Full-time MBA and Professional MBA programs. Read on to see if one of the two MBA programs offered hold any interest for you. If you are interested in the program and meet the minimum requirements, please feel free to apply.

Full-time MBA

To apply for our Full-time MBA your achievements and contributions to the community, GMAT/GRE scores and GPA will be considered. Our students have an average GMAT score of 602 and an average undergraduate GPA of 3.21. To apply for the program, there are a few things you will need to do. You will need to submit the following:

  • An official transcript from each higher educational institution you have attended
  • Your GMAT or GRE scores
  • Two letters of recommendations from nonrelatives
  • Two required essays to communicate what you hope to achieve at Daniels and how you will contribute to the community, along with an optional open-topic essay

Once you have submitted these things, you may be called in for an admissions interview. An admissions interview is an opportunity for you and the admissions staff to meet and decide if you and the program area good fit. This interview can be completed over the phone, in person, or via web cam.

Professional MBA

To apply for our professional MBA program, you need two or more years of professional work experience. Our ideal professional MBA candidate has the ability to balance work, school and personal life. The candidates for this program are early career, high-potential employees. To apply for the program, there are a few things you will need to do. First, you will need to submit the following:

  • An official transcript from each higher educational institution you have attended
  • Your GMAT or GRE scores
  • Two letters of recommendations from nonrelatives
  • Two required essays to communicate what you hope to achieve at Daniels and how you will contribute to the community, along with an optional open-topic essay
  • Your professional résumé

Once you have submitted these things, you may be called and invited for an admissions interview. This interview, just like the Full-time MBA interview, is an opportunity to evaluate if you are a good match. The admissions interview will be conducted over the phone, in person or via webcam. We will work with you to decide a time and a convenient way to conduct the interview.
