Resources for Parents>
Parents and family members play an important role in helping students achieve their full potential at Daniels and beyond.
Recognizing this, both the University of Denver (DU) and Daniels offer ways for you to stay informed and get involved with
your student's experience at Daniels.
- DU Parent Program: The Parents Program partners with parents and family members to help make your student's time at DU as successful as possible. On the Parents Program website you find articles and information on enhancing your student's living and learning experience, event information and numerous ways to get involved with the DU community.
- Parent and Family Handbook: A comprehensive guide to academics, student life and the wide range of programs and services available to undergraduate students.
- DU Events for Parents: From summer send-off parties to special parent and family weekends, the DU Parents Program encourages family involvement.
- Ways to Get Involved: There are several ways to get involved while your student is at DU: participate in the Parents Program, join the Parents Association, volunteer for the mentor or admission programs or lend a hand at an event.
- Important Dates for the 2009-2010 Academic Year: From housing deadlines to course registration to homecoming weekend and more, help your student keep track of important dates by reviewing the 2009-2010 Academic Calendar.
- Visiting DU and Daniels: Whether your student is considering Daniels or currently enrolled, we encourage you to visit our beautiful campus and meet our dynamic faculty, staff and students.
