  • Using Financial Functions in Excel - Level I - Beginner

    Friday, February 12 - Friday, February 12 | 1 - 5 p.m.

    Building accurate pro-forma is a crucial first step in any real estate investment of development venture. This hands-on session is designed especially for real estate professionals who want to learn the basics of financial functions using Excel. Students will learn to use financial functions and advanced tools in Excel and apply them immediately to their own investment and development models. Financial concepts such as compounding and discounting, IRR and NPV will be reviewed and addressed in detail. You will receive step-by-step instruction in the inputs, formulas, and techniques to construct and manipulate a pro-forma using basic real estate finance principles. You will gain a deeper understanding of finance concepts as you apply these concepts in a structured, hands-on learning environment.

  • 2010 Women of Enterprise Forum

    Thursday, April 22 - Thursday, April 22 | 7:30 - 12 noon

    The Forum strives to focus on presenting top women of the industry to speak on topics of shared interest to the finance, development, brokerage, marketing, lending, and management careers within real estate and construction management. The WE Forum has a commitment to encourage young women to enter the industry and because of that, 75% of all net profits go directly into scholarships for women enrolled in the Burns School.
