Alumni and Executive MentoringAsk any successful working professional and they’ll tell you: we all rely on mentors throughout our careers to help us navigate. Plus, according to Drake Beam Morin, a nationally recognized workforce consulting firm, people find their next jobs through networking more than 60% of the time. A recent Business Week article puts that number at more than 80%. The Suitts Center offers two mentor programs students can utilize to develop their professional network.
Executive Mentor Program The Executive Mentor Program is an exciting program that gives students access to high-level executives in the Denver area. The program can be used to explore career paths and industries, review real world challenges with executives, and see first hand how corporate strategy is executed. Small groups of students are paired with an Executive Mentor and then meet several times throughout the year.
