Stewart Stockdale is president of the Americas and executive vice president of Global Cards and Global Key Accounts for the Western Union Company. He is a member of the company's executive committee and global operating committee.
Mr. Stockdale is responsible for Western Union's consumer business in the Americas region, including P&L responsibility for Western Union's consumer and payment products. Mr. Stockdale oversees Western Union's Cards international business and is launching the largest prepaid offering in the U.S. as well as piloting offerings in select global markets. He has executive oversight of the company's global strategic relationships across retail, financial institutions and emerging-player verticals. Mr. Stockdale has assumed responsibility for the Payments Division and is driving a refreshed go-to-market strategy.
Prior to joining Western Union in 2008, Mr. Stockdale served as president of Simon Brand Ventures and as chief marketing officer of Simon Property Group.
He is a member of the board for the Denver Metro Chamber of Commerce. Born in Mexico City, Mr. Stockdale is fluent in English and Spanish.
Mr. Stockdale holds a BSBA degree from the University of Denver, Daniels College of Business and has completed The Executive Program at the University of Virginia, Darden School of Business Administration.
