Designs, develops, and delivers course materials to support the presentation of educational programs and courses of study at the undergraduate, graduate, and executive education levels. Also designs, develops, and delivers custom corporate programs in organizational leadership and management.  Areas of academic focus include organizational leadership, strategic management, organizational behavior, and strategic human resources management.

Biography-at-a-Glance

After completing a successful career as a commissioned officer in the U.S. Air Force, Professor Simon began his private sector career as a regional training manager for Storer Communications, Inc. (SCI) where he progressed to the position of corporate vice president of human resources. After Storer was acquired by Tele-communications, Inc. (TCI) Professor Simon joined the management team of TCI. TCI was acquired by AT&T; where he held the position of senior vice president of training and education for AT&T Broadband.  He subsequently left AT&T to join the management team of Broadband Services, Inc. (BSI). While at BSI, he served as the executive director of human resources and employee development. Following a brief stint with Lehman Brothers' mortgage banking division as vice president of employee training and development he joined the leadership team of Starz Encore Group, LLC (Starz). At Starz, he held the position of senior director of training and internal communications. After his tenure with Starz, he joined the faculty of the Institute for Leadership and Organizational Performance at the Daniels College of Business.
