Biography At-a-Glance
Richard Scudder is Associate Dean of Graduate Programs for the Daniels College of Business and an associate professor of information technology and electronic commerce. He was the University of Denver's chief information officer from 1996-1998. Prior to his academic career, Scudder served in teaching and training positions in the public and private sector. He received a Ph.D. in educational technology and instructional design from the University of Colorado in 1980, and joined the University of Denver faculty in 1982. In partnership with the University's Morgridge College of Education, he is developing an MBA program in school leadership.
When working with the media, Scudder offers a strategic perspective on information technology and education gained in the academic world, corporations, and as a teacher at a disadvantaged junior high school.
