Biography-at-a-Glance

Patrick Orr is the Senior Director of Graduate Student Operations for the Daniels College of Business at the University of Denver.  He is responsible for the design, development and delivery of co-curricular and experiential learning activities for graduate business students from orientation through graduation.  

Arriving in 1997, Patrick was involved in the design and development of multimedia technologies for the new business school building completed in 1999.  From 1997 to 2001, Patrick worked closely with faculty and staff to manage the design, production and maintenance of the Daniels College web site. He was responsible for implementing Daniels e-learning initiatives and worked closely with faculty in the design and development of multimedia based curriculum.  From 2001 to 2008, Patrick was the Director of Educational Technology and responsible for managing the integration of business and computer technology into the curriculum and classroom at all levels of the organization. Patrick's professional experience spans over 25 years as a multimedia producer/director, education technology specialist and operations manager.  He has taught video and multimedia classes at Colorado State University, Metro State University, Red Rocks Community College and Southern Maine Technical Institution. In the late 80's, Patrick worked as a Communication Specialist for the mail order catalog L.L. Bean, Inc.
