I was born and raised in Boulder, Colorado.  Although, I'm from Colorado, I've been around the map a bit before coming back to Denver.  I completed my undergraduate degree in Biology at the University of the Pacific in Stockton, CA.  I worked for the California Air Pollution Control for two years and taught English abroad before beginning the MS program in Accountancy at the Daniels College of Business at DU.  I'm excited about being in the Accounting program and I'm pledging for the Beta Alpha Phi on campus Accounting organization to solidify my foundation for my new field of study.
