Mr. Jared Marquette
Daniels Ambassador Coordinator
International Master of Business Administration
Program, Year (1st, 2nd), and Concentration:
2nd Year MBA, concentration in Finance
Where are you from and what were you doing before you came to Daniels?
Before I enrolled at DU I taught English in South American for a year and then came to Denver where I worked for a tax and payroll company.
Extracurricular activities that you are involved with:
The Daniels Ambassador Program, Net Impact, several DU intramural sports, Big Brother Big Sister, and a few friends and I are in the process of incorporating a non-profit organization designed for fundraising.
What brought you to Daniels?
Many different things, but in particular the opportunity to network. I know I want to stay in Denver, and DU was the obvious choice for full time MBA programs in the area, particularly when looking at their alumni network in the area. And there was a Jimmy Johns close by.
A little about your experience at Daniels thus far:
It’s been great. Graduate school is a lot more than classes. Network network network. The biggest challenge for me has been finding time to do everything I want to do, but just employ the use of Google calendars and you should be fine.
