Biography At-a-Glance
Peter Lathrop's business career includes nearly 30 years of senior level management experience working for global consumer products companies such as J Walter Thompson, Samsonite, Black & Decker and Brown-Forman. He spent eight years working in Europe, as the VP of Marketing and Sales for Samsonite, Europe, covering 17 countries based in Belgium; and then VP of Marketing for Black & Decker, Europe, for its Power Tools, Outdoor and Household Products, based near London. He was President and CEO of Hartmann Inc, a division of Brown-Forman Corporation, before returning to Colorado. Peter has spent considerable time travelling in Asia (Japan, Korea, Taiwan, Hong Kong, mainland China and Singapore) for a multitude of assignments and job responsibilities. Currently, he consults for Front-Range companies while teaching at Daniels.
