Wayne King is a vice president at Western Union and leads the accounting standards and policies group. Mr. King joined Western Union in 2003. Previously, he worked for KPMG LLP for nine years, leaving the firm as senior manager. At KPMG, he focused in the entertainment and emerging technologies practice areas.

King was a national instructor at KPMG on audit process and technical accounting topics. He is a certified public accountant in Colorado and is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants and the Colorado Society of Certified Public Accountants.

King holds a MAcc from the University of Denver, Daniels College of Business.
