Where are you from and what were you doing before you came to Daniels?

Howdy! I am originally from the Houston, Texas area, but have also lived in both Plano and Round Rock. I have over 8 years of military service with one combat tour in Baghdad, Iraq as a commander of a 56 troop reconnaissance unit. My previous education is a B.S. from Texas A&M University and a M.Ed. from Hardin-Simmons University.

Extracurricular activities that you are involved with:

I currently serve as one of the GBSA Volunteer Chairs where we help graduate students find volunteer opportunities throughout the Denver area. I also assist with the Daniels Ambassador program, so please feel free to email me if you have any questions about the MBA program, Daniels or even Denver.

What brought you to Daniels?

I moved to Denver to pursue my MBA at Daniels in order to safely transition from the military to a civilian career. Ultimately, it is up to me to make this transition happen, but the Daniels’ staff has geared the program to provide many resources and professional opportunities for all students to fully engage in finding the right career.
