Christopher K. Ancell, President of CenturyLink's Business Markets organization, oversees sales, marketing, product development and delivery of voice and data communications services to large businesses as well as local, state and federal government and education customers. A nationwide organization, Business Markets is regionally based in Denver, Colorado, and generates more than $4 billion in annual revenues through delivery of a comprehensive portfolio of data and voice networking communications solutions. The group services institutions domestically, as well as in Europe and the Pacific Rim.

Ancell was named Executive Vice President of Qwest Business Markets in 2009. From 2004 to 2009, he served as Vice President of Sales, Western Region. In the two years prior, as Vice President of Sales Support, he was responsible for a national team of sales engineers, service and project managers, post-sale account professionals and a specialized product sales group.

Joining Qwest in 2000 as a Vice President in the product organization, Ancell later became Vice President of Hosting Sales. From 1999 to 2000, he was Vice President of Professional Services at Service Metrics, Inc., an Exodus Communications Company. He also has held management positions at PricewaterhouseCoopers and with Oracle's Telecommunications Consulting Practice.
