Management is more than part of business. It drives business.

Perhaps more than other business disciplines, effective management is the linchpin of a business or organization’s success. The Department of Management at the Daniels College of Business is Denver’s central source for management expertise.

We believe that the core functions of management – strategic decision-making, developing organizational talent and financial know-how — are informed by a strong sense of business ethics and accountability.  That’s why we help you develop an ethical framework to navigate complex management issues. You’ll understand the importance of considering all stakeholders and the social, legal, environmental and economic ramifications of business decisions.

Just as management drives business, we’re driven to improve business. The Department of Management is home to a premier group of faculty members who are not only teachers, but also thought leaders and widely recognized researchers.
