ASCEND

To Climb.
To Reach.
To Scale the Heights.

Established in 1908, Daniels College of Business has an enduring tradition of educating business leaders of substance who are making a difference in the world. Our transformative educational experience impacts not only the students in our classrooms, it impacts stakeholders around the world—from village banks in Cambodia to big banks on Wall Street and from the Peace House for AIDS orphans in Tanzania to students building a net-zero-impact house in Denver. In 2008, we launched the Daniels Tomorrow strategic planning process. With your help, we have made great progress toward realizing our vision: To be a premier private business college globally recognized as a leader whose educational experiences, outreach, and knowledge creation transforms lives, organizations and communities.

Yet there is still much more to be done. The Daniels portion of the University of Denver’s ASCEND campaign is a $100 million transformational effort that will enable us to pioneer new areas of teaching, research, community and excellence and provide opportunities for the ethical business leaders of tomorrow. At this time, your support is more important than ever before.

The Daniels Tomorrow strategic plan focuses on seven goals designed to improve our excellence and reputation. These critical goals cannot be achieved without significant investment from our community. The College developed three funding priorities to meet the challenge of Daniels Tomorrow and provide a lasting legacy for future generations:

  • People—Invest in the students, alumni connections, faculty and staff who power our community.
  • Programs—Support the graduate, undergraduate and executive programs that are changing the world of business.
  • Places—Strengthen the facilities and technologies that serve as launch pads for our students’ success.

As a private business college, Daniels depends on substantial financial support from alumni, friends, parents, corporations and other stakeholders—for today and Daniels Tomorrow.
