Biography at a Glance

Eamon Twomey is the Vice President of Advisor Services’ Advisor Custody & Trading and is responsible for the Denver site leadership and head of the Core and Specialty Service Teams. Eamon joined the organization in May of 2013 and is located in the Denver office.

Before moving over to Advisor Services Eamon was a Vice President in the Retail organization responsible for the Austin site leadership of Client Service & Support, Trade Support Group, Derivatives, IPO/MF Load, Advanced Technical Support and optionsXpress service and trading teams.

Prior to Schwab, Eamon was the COO of The Hartford Broker Dealers and had responsibility for defining operational processes and controls that support the requirements in the Wealth Management broker dealers. The products that were provided by these broker dealers were retirement, mutual funds, 529, annuities, hedge funds, private placements and life insurance. In addition, Eamon was also responsible for all of the trading, clearing and custody of these products which was over $200B in assets.

Between the years of 2002 and 2012, Eamon was a senior officer of Curian Capital, a subsidiary of Jackson National Life. He was responsible for all of the Operations for this registered investment advisory firm that had over 100,000 accounts and $10B in assets.

Eamon holds a bachelor’s degree in Finance from Marist College in New York and his Executive MBA from the University of Denver. He also sits on the Daniels Executive Advisory Board at the University of Denver and has FINRA licenses 3,4,7,9,10,24,53,55,63,72 and 99.
