Undergraduate Programs
Learning that extends beyond the classroom.
Learning at Daniels is not confined to classrooms or even continents. Our approach
to learning is interdisciplinary and high impact: You learn business lessons because
you live them. You acquire business skills because you use them when the stakes are
real.
You'll also benefit from Daniels' ground-breaking emphasis on business ethics and
values-based leadership skills. We'll give you the ethical framework to evaluate business
decisions from a social, political, environmental and global perspective.
What sets learning at Daniels apart from other business colleges:
- Hands-on learning: We get you out of the classroom and into the "real world" where you can put your skills and knowledge to work. Daniels provides countless experiential learning opportunities from sophisticated investment banking simulations to consulting projects for Denver-based businesses to planning and orchestrating large-scale events as part of our hotel, restaurant and tourism management program.
- Master the tools of the trade: You will be required to demonstrate mastery of Microsoft Office applications by passing the Microsoft Office Specialist (MOS) exam. Microsoft Office is widely used in the business world and your mastery of it will help you better analyze data, model various business situations and create persuasive presentations. You'll learn to work smarter, not harder.
- Preparation for 360 success: Programs such as Backpacks to Briefcases help you transition from student to professional through workshops and events on topics such as managing your finances, conducting a job search and balancing school, work and friends.
- An ethical and global perspective: We understand that all business is international and that not all stakeholders wear pinstripes. Our curricula and study abroad opportunities (over two-thirds of our students study abroad) reinforce a global perspective that encompasses strategy and sustainability, people and profits, and environment and enterprise.
