The Daniels MBA: Professional (Part-time) Program
Lessons aren't confined to classrooms -- or even continents.
Business doesn't happen in a classroom. That's why the Professional MBA immerses you in as many on-site, problem-solving situations as possible. You'll learn by doing--experience that stays with you long after your classes are over.
Business relevance and experiential learning are at the core of the Daniels PMBA experience
as exemplified by these three opportunities:
- Leading at the Edge: This course uses the experiences and accomplishments of the 10th Mountain Division as a metaphor for values-based leadership, innovation, teamwork and global perspective. It challenges students to work as a team and evaluate their abilities in a difficult and changing mountain setting. The result is stronger bonds within the cohort, team-building skills and increased self-awareness.
- PMBA International Travel Seminar: Today's global business environment requires a working knowledge of the interdependencies of international commerce and its effect on society. During the nine-day International Travel Seminar, which is included in the tuition, you'll experience business in the context of other cultures and gain insight into global business perspectives and sustainable business practices.
- Capstone Project: Working with a cohort team, you'll apply knowledge gained throughout the PMBA program to a service-learning project that adds real value to your community. It's an opportunity to pull it all together from business fundamentals to the various dimensions of business sustainability.
