I just got back from a week-long family reunion cruise to Alaska. At a fitness presentation on the ship, I learned that the average cruiser gains one to two pounds per day! The cornucopia of treats available was delectable, but now that I have returned to the thinnest and fittest state in the nation, I’m definitely motivated to lose the extra baggage!
Luckily, I have a distinct advantage over my equally plumped-up relatives: the Ritchie Center at DU. There isn’t a better place to work up a sweat than inside our very own world-class, state-of-the-art sports and wellness center. Here is photographic proof that the Center is as gorgeous as it looks on the website:
One great feature of the Coors Fitness Center is its group fitness classes (and they’re free for full-time Daniels students, as is membership to the Center).
