Do all Daniels programs require the GMAT?

The Graduate Record Exam (GRE) may be substituted for the GMAT exam. For more information about the GRE, visit the GRE website. Those who wish to be considered for merit-based scholarships and graduate assistantships must submit a GMAT score.

I have already earned a graduate degree. Do I still need to submit the GMAT?

Proof of a regionally accredited post-baccalaureate degree may also be substituted for the GMAT exam; however, those who wish to be considered for merit-based scholarships and graduate assistantships must submit a GMAT score.

Can I retake the GMAT and submit the score with the same application?

You may retake the GMAT and submit the new score with the same application for admission. The highest score will be used for admissions. We do not average multiple scores.

How many years is a GMAT score good for?

We will accept GMAT scores taken within the last five years.

I have significant work experience. Do I still have to take the GMAT?

The GMAT will not be waived for candidates with significant work experience.

I am applying to the joint program with DU's Sturm College of Law: MBA/JD, IMBA/JD, MS-RECM/JD. Can I submit the LSAT in place of the GMAT?

The LSAT cannot be used as a substitute for the GMAT. Prospective students must apply and be accepted to both the Sturm College of Law and Daniels College of Business separately; therefore, the GMAT is still required.

Can I take the GRE instead of the GMAT?

If you have already taken the GRE or feel you will perform better on the GRE than the GMAT, please contact a graduate admissions counselor about submitting GRE rather than GMAT test scores.
