DU Student Admissions Criteria
Undergraduate students who wish to pursue a business major may apply to Daniels College of Business in the Fall Quarter of their sophomore year. The following criteria are required for DU undergraduate students seeking admission.
Daniels College of Business Application
Complete an online application to the Daniels College of Business. Applications deadlines occur every Fall Quarter.
Cover Letter and Professional Resume
The cover letter should describe your interest in business, choice of major and career focus as well as your involvement within
the University of Denver community. Your professional resume should detail your work and educational experience. Career advisers
are available to assist with the design and development of resumes and cover letters.
On-campus Professional Interview
The interview is an essential part of our whole-person assessment of applicants. We encourage you to hone your interviewing
skills through mock interviews with career advisers.
Sophomore Standing or Higher
Applicants are encouraged to apply in the Fall Quarter of their sophomore year. Students may also apply after their sophomore
year; however, the decision to change majors after sophomore year may impact your graduation date, depending on which courses
have already been taken. Consult an adviser in the Daniels Office of Undergraduate Programs to discuss your specific case.
