On September 19-20, 2016, Daniels College of Business will bring together Denver’s brightest pioneers, organizations and thought leaders from across the globe to discuss the vision for Denver’s future and the smart cities of tomorrow. These leaders are the movers and shakers who are using technological advancements to improve connectivity, sustainability, transportation and overall quality of life within Denver and cities all over the world. 

This joint event commences with our signature event on the evening of September 19, Voices of Experience, featuring City of Denver and Panasonic Eco Solutions CEO Jim Doyle. A full-day Smart Cities Conference will follow on September 20 featuring Denver’s smart city leaders, global experts and organizations leading the smart city initiatives of the future. This event is designed to for companies, business and civic leaders, and professionals who are engaged in supporting and driving innovative technological and sustainable efforts to improve communities.

During the conference, the topics will cover the latest trends on gathering and utilizing data to improve infrastructure including roadways, grids and buildings, the future of connectivity using advancing technology, grassroots environmental sustainability initiatives, key strategic partnerships and the future of driverless cars in Denver and beyond.

Join us for an evening and full-day engaging event to learn more about the future of Denver’s Smart City initiatives, efforts happening worldwide and how to get involved with local partnerships and communities.

The Executive Education Conference series is an event series hosted by DU’s Executive Education with the purpose of bringing together pioneering thought leaders and Colorado’s business, civic and community leaders to share the latest trends, innovation and best practices in their fields. The Executive Education Conferences follow VOE and focus on deeper discussions into specific topics, trends and industries affecting our business and economic landscape. The Conference series was launched in the spring of 2016 with SMARTech, which brought together leaders from major technology firms and start-ups both leading the future for technology.
