A Proud Pioneer Who Volunteers

March 05, 2012 |

Griffin Hanna is a senior at the University of Denver who doesn’t limit his involvement to the classroom. Griffin was immediately drawn to the smaller class sizes in the Daniels College of Business because the more intimate atmosphere allows for a personalized, beneficial experience. He enjoys spending time with professors, students, colleagues, and everyone else who is part of the DU community. He also plays on many intramural athletic teams, including ultimate Frisbee, and he loves participating in charity work. He says such experiences help him understand himself and the world at large, and he thrives on energy, innovation, and the company of others.
His advice to incoming students is to take advantage of the smaller class sizes and community in general, and he also encourages freshmen to consider living in J-Mac (Johnson-McFarlane residence hall).
